Weekly retail gasoline prices by state and national average. We use the EIA Open Data API to fetch the most recent weekly data for all 50 states. EIA is the official U.S. government source for energy statistics.

Internal Revenue Service (IRS.gov)

Official IRS standard mileage rates for business, medical, and charitable driving. Rates are announced annually via IRS Notice publications.

Used for: IRS Mileage Rate page, all reimbursement and deduction calculators

FuelEconomy.gov (U.S. DOE & EPA)

https://www.fueleconomy.gov

Official EPA fuel economy ratings for all vehicle makes and models. Free public API with no key required. Used for official MPG data on vehicle-specific pages.

Used for: Vehicle running cost pages (Phase 2)
